Teatro Grattacielo - When Fire Burns

We are back in business people!!! Creative people are coming out from a long winter called COVID and starting to produce for the masses beautiful and inspiring caress to our souls.

For me it meant that for the first time for over two years I had the chance to create a set of images for the new performances by Teatro Grattacielo. In this new normal, masks were still required and vaccination mandatory to look after our fellow humans and be able to enjoy the show.

Coming from Argentina, so attached to the music of Buenos Aires, it is always moving to listen Piazzolla, but much more in this occasion when these two amazingly gifted singers (Nancy Fabiola Herrera and Gustavo Feulien) used their craft to give additional deep to those tangos.

Here are some of the images created during that performance.

And of course the orchestra under the conductor Jorge Parodi

2021 Week 45 - Fall is coming

Yesterday was on of the peak days for the fall in Central Park. The oranges, yellows and whatever is left of the greens showed beautifully in a very changing weather. It went from wide blue sky to hail stones and wind within the hour. Temperature went from low 60ºF to Mid 45ºF in that time.

This is the result of that walk in the park.

NYC Photographers Meetup - Early Autumn Field Trip: Croton Point Park

After over 18 long months this great group of photographers, that consistently gathered for over 10 years, was able to get into the routine of meeting and making pictures..

Thanks to the tireless work of organizing and showing up Chris and Sally do, almost 30 photographers gathered in Croton Point park, NY for a long walk around nature. Some old faces but also some new ones came and enjoy that beautiful fall day.

I decided mainly to focus on making images of the group itself, showing how important is the human interaction and how much we needed it. That long walk helped me, and I hope that it also did it to the rest, to catch up with many of them, at the same time that we all created a new set of images to fulfill our passion for this craft.
